CJP’s Dipke rebukes Ramdev, asks him to focus on Patanjali products, alleges pressure to join BJP

The CJP founder says he has received threats pressuring him to join BJP, with messages suggesting his family's life would improve if he joins the ruling party. Such intimidation would not stop him from supporting the students' movement, he says.

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday criticized Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, urging him to focus on the quality of his company’s products rather than commenting on political movements.

Speaking in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke reminded reporters that even the Supreme Court had raised concerns about Patanjali’s product claims. “You should worry about faulty products, or it might just shut down,” he remarked, adding that Ramdev should first address judicial observations before questioning student protests.

Dipke also alleged that he had received threats pressuring him to align with the BJP, with messages suggesting his family’s life would improve if he joined the ruling party. He said such intimidation would not deter him from supporting the ongoing student movement.

The clash followed Ramdev’s statement that the agitation was “corrupting an entire generation.” Dipke countered: “If fighting for democracy, education, and our future corrupts sanskar, then yes, we are doing it.”

Meanwhile, Ramdev remained in the spotlight for a different reason. A video showing him performing energetic jumps and fitness routines went viral, drawing millions of views. Social media users turned the clip into a meme fest, with jokes linking his stamina to India’s E20 ethanol fuel blend. Some viewers insisted the video featured Ramdev himself, while others claimed it was a lookalike. Regardless, the footage sparked widespread debate and added another layer to the controversy surrounding the yoga guru.
